Enhanced Digital Communication with Twygger via Scalable Multi-Cloud

Communicating with all stakeholders via targeted messages, based on the context they are in; that is something many companies need. This is why Info Support contributed to the development and realization of Twygger; a messaging service for digital, time-critical communication that runs in a multi-cloud environment.

Challenge

Send large volumes of messages based on context – for example, location, function and preferences.

Target Audience

Cross-domain.

Result

A robust and scalable cloud-based product that has almost halved the cost of messaging and associated infrastructure.

Appropriate communication to the right people

If there is a problem or change within your organization, it can be quite complicated to determine which people – inside or outside the organization – should be notified. In addition, it can be difficult to reach the right people at the right time. This applies to almost all organizations; from retail and public transportation to the agricultural sector. Consider, for example, communicating with stakeholders around a downed machine or sending a notification about stock running low. How do you determine whom to inform? How do you reach them? And how do you ensure that the service continues to function when it sends large volumes of messages?

Twygger is cloud-based and therefore large volumes of messages are easily processed. By using multiple data centers, Twygger always remains available; any outage is no problem for us.

Architectural choices led to a flexible and scalable product

That’s why Twygger was developed. Based on Info Supports’ standard approach and customer needs, the team made several architecture choices. These include controlling costs, guaranteeing availability and preventing vendor lock-in on a specific cloud as well as the cloud as a whole.

These choices resulted in a product that is flexible and always scalable with high availability. On the other hand, as a user you do not suffer from possible disadvantages associated with the cloud. For example, if it happens that one data center goes down, it automatically switches to the next data center. Thanks to the in-house and dedicated cloud DevOps team, this product is constantly kept up-to-date.

Cost of messaging cut in half

By deploying Twygger, users can quickly and reliably improve their communication towards their stakeholders. Both end customers and employees are informed faster because the cloud-based platform can process a large volume of messages.

As a result, users can act immediately and appropriately based on the information they receive. At several organizations where Info Support deploys Twygger, the cost of messaging and the associated infrastructure has almost halved.
